Tuesday, May 6: Boise City Council Work Session, 4 pm, City Hall, Maryanne Jordan City Council Chambers, 150 Capitol Blvd. Support our friends in the Central Bench Neighborhood Association’s proposed Urban Renewal District; learn more about the Valley Regional Transit System, and more. Thursday, May 9: Collister Center Library, 7 – 8 pm. Collister Neighborhood Association quarterly meeting. The agenda includes:
- Sycamore Neighborhood Plan presentation by Ed Keener;
- Coffee taste test to pick Caffeina’s new Collister Neighborhood Blend;
- Updates from Transportation, Events, and History Committees;
- Proposal to add more board positions;
- Update from Northwest Neighborhood Association regarding Hill Road Re-zoning issues.
Saturday, May 18: Collister Neighborhood Foothills hike. Meet Pete Ritter, lead trail ranger for the Ridge to Rivers System, City of Boise 9 am at the Collister Trailhead at Polecat Gulch. Bring a hat, sunscreen, water and good walking shoes. Hikers will return to trailhead by noon. Learn more about the Polecat Reserve
Saturdays (except May 11 – no meeting that day), 11 am – noon. Edwards Greenhouse Earthworms for ages 3 to 12 Learn gardening through stories and hands-on activities. Free!
Saturdays – 9 am – 1 pm: The Outdoor Boise Farmers Market opens Saturday, April 6 at a new location! 1500 Shoreline Dr.
